SDCM Reference

CCT as a color meter, is well know and refered every time come to LEDs. Let’s take a look at below samples from market, the Left(ref. as L) LED strip is 3265K and the Right(ref. as R) LED strip is 3282K, the CCT difference is only around ±20K while Lighting color performance is quite different and easily tell by eyes. Then here we need to introduce in SDCM. SDCM is a very important measurement of Color Tolerance Adjustment, starting from the acurate center, SDCM is ranked into 4 steps – 1, 3, 5, 7; showing the perfection degrees of LED color. Basically, the closer distance from center, the better color perfection. SDCM≤7 LED is good color LED and SDCM≤5 is regarded as perfect color. Compared, L strip is 5<SDCM<7, within the tolerance range, has a standard color performance; while R strip is out of SDCM-7, showing greenish feeling.

Structure

SDCM<3 LED Strip SMD3528 can be 60LEDs per meter and 120LEDs per meter. Same as standard LightAge LED flexible strip, SDCM<3 LED flexible strip light also adopts pure copper Doublefaced Flexible printed circuit, which is outstanding in flexibility and heat-dissipation. Installer can make a cut at any circuit end of 5 cm distance for 60LEDs strip and 2.5cm distance for 120LEDs strip.
