Different Types of LEDs
LED has the edges of high efficiency of energy transference (which is energy-saving), instant lit-up, long life span (about 35,000 hours ~ 50,000 hours), impact resistance, small size, concentrated and wide color range. LightAge Tech adopts LEDs as light source for different fittings which are widely used in both interior lightings and outdoor lightings.
Types of LEDs LightAge Tech adopted:
1. Low Wattage LED
Low wattage LED is used widely in displayer, signs and lightings; the wattage is around 0.06-0.07W per piece.
2. SMD 3528 / SMD 5050
SMD 3528/ SMD 5050 is mostly adopted in LED strip lights, LED rigid bars and LED tubes. The wattage of one SMD LED is ranged from 0.18W to 0.25W.
3. High Power LED
The wattage of high power LED is from 1W to 3W. 3×1W refers to 3 pieces LEDs and each one for 1W; while 1×3W means there’s only one LED with 3W. High Power LED is frequently found in LED down lights, LED flood lights, LED pool lightsetc.
4. COB LED
Chip on board LED can be made into different shapes (round or square) with different sizes. So the wattage range can be from less than 1W to 100W. COB LED can be used in flood Lights.
